Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 – Rishikesh → Sari Village
Altitude: 6,600 ft
Drive Distance: 190 km
Duration: 7–8 hours
Drive through scenic Himalayan roads to reach Sari Village, the base camp for the trek.
Day 2 – Sari → Deoriatal
Altitude: 8,000 ft
Trek Distance: 3 km
Duration: 1–2 hours
A short scenic trek leads to Deoriatal Lake, famous for its reflections of snow-covered Himalayan peaks.
Day 3 – Deoriatal → Tala → Baniyakund
Trek Distance: 10 km
Drive Distance: 15 km
Trek through beautiful forest trails and mountain landscapes, followed by a drive to Baniyakund campsite.
Day 4 – Chopta → Tungnath → Chandrashila
Trek Distance: 9–10 km
Duration: 7–8 hours
Trek to Tungnath Temple, the highest Shiva temple in the world, and continue to Chandrashila Summit for panoramic Himalayan views.
Day 5 – Baniyakund → Rishikesh
Drive Distance: 210 km
Duration: 7–8 hours
After breakfast, drive back to Rishikesh, concluding the trek.
